Unit Infostruktur & Sokongan Teknikal

Unit ini bertanggungjawab dalm menyediakan perkhidmatan untuk keperluan rangkaian IPPT, sistem telekomunikasi dan keselamatan ICT kepada warga IPPT berdasarkan sumber-sumber tersedia. Ia merangkumi perancangan, pelaksanaan, pengurusan, penyelarasan, pemantauan, penambahbaikan dan perundingan untuk perkhidmatan rangkaian setempat (wayar & tanpa wayar), capaian internet dan VPN (virtual private network), perkhidmatan Pusat Data dan pelayan (server), perkhidmatan telekomunikasi dan perkhidmatan keselamatan ICT

Unit ini bertanggungjawab merangka keseluruhan perkhidmatan ICT secara efektif dan efisien berlandaskan strategi jangka pendek dan jangka panjang, berperanan memberi latihan dan tunjuk ajar untuk meningkatkan kesedaran dan kemahiran ICT terutamanya di kalangan staf IPPT serta bertanggunjawab dalam pengurusan aset ICT yang cekap dan berkesan.

Unit ini bertanggungjawab pengaktifan Kad Pintar untuk kegunaan akses bangunan, pengurusan dan sokongan perkhidmatan Emel serta sokongan teknikal IT kepada warga IPPT
