The 3rd AMDI Postgraduate Colloquium 2017

{tab=Aim & Scope}

This colloquium is now in its third edition in the running with its inception in 2014 and the second edition was held in 2015.

This seminar-style meeting aims to provide a platform for all the postgraduate students and postdoctoral fellows at the Advanced Medical and Dental Institute to interact by:

· Sharing their research findings
· Discussing the current/future trends in their research areas
· Exchanging ideas with senior fellows and academic members of the institute

The colloquium also aim to address some of the challenges in translating the fundamental research finding in the laboratory (bench-side) into a potential treatment for the disease (bedside) or industrial application (community). With that in mind, several invited lectures, showcases, and industry talks will be held to provide the students with inspiration in the translation of research to practice, as well as on the life beyond the academia.

The scope of the interest for this colloquium include, but not limited to:

· Applied Sciences and Technologies
· Bioinformatics
· Biological Sciences
· Biomedical Engineering
· Biotechnology
· Chemical Sciences
· Medical and Health Sciences
· Physical Sciences

We hope to see you in July 2017 for the 3rd AMDI Postgraduate Colloquium.
