Dean's Award Ceremony for Master of Science Students in Clinical Exercise Science and Medical Doctor Programs at USM+1
Bertam, May 20, 2025 – The Director/ Dean's Award was bestowed upon six exceptional students from the Master of Science in Clinical Exercise Science program and the Medical Doctor program USM+1 in recognition of their academic excellence, as they had achieved a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.65 or higher. The award ceremony was conducted in the Main Lobby of Block C, USM Sains@Bertam, in an atmosphere that was characterised by academic excellence and appreciation.
Lumintang Johanna Nathania (CGPA 3.84), Allan Ivan Mauming (CGPA 3.79), Al Araimi Mohammad Said Salim (CGPA 3.74) and Cheng Ee Kei (CGPA 3.72) were the four recipients of the Master of Science in Clinical Exercise Science program.
Adam Husaini (CGPA 3.74) and Tang Jia Yee (CGPA 3.74) were also recipients of the honour from the Medical Doctor programme USM+1.


Advanced Medical and Dental Institute was represented by Associate Professor Dr. Bakiah Shaharuddin, IPPT and PPUSMB Director, and members of the institute's leadership team, including Associate Professor Dr. Hazwani Ahmad Yusof@Hanafi (Deputy Director, Academic and International), Professor Dr. Badrul Hisham Yahaya (Deputy Director, Research and Networking), Associate Professor Dr. Noor Khairiah A. Karim (Deputy Director, Clinical, Sustainability & Standards), Dr. Nurdiana Zainol Abidin (Head Program of Master of Science in Clinical Exercise Science), Mrs. Nur Anis Syamimi Mohammad Azmi (Assistant Registrar, Division of Academic and International).
The Director conveyed her sincere gratitude for the students' accomplishments in her speech, indicating that their success was the result of the conducive learning environment at USM, as well as their lecturers' unwavering support, persistent effort, and dedication. Additionally, she urged students to persist in their pursuit of excellence and to act as role models for their peers.
The ceremony was further energised by the attendance of fellow students from both programs, who attended to provide moral support and commemorate the accomplishments of their peers. The audience's effusive ovation for the award recipients was accompanied by a palpable sense of camaraderie and gratitude.
The event concluded with a photo session that captured meaningful memories of this special occasion with the award recipients and attendees
