Masters of Science programs
Registration is open for our Masters of Science programs; Mixed mode (MM) and coursework (CW) for September intake each year:
1. Medical Research (MM)
2. Transfusion Science (MM)
3. Health Toxicology (MM)
4. Clinical Exercise Science (CW)
All programs carry 40/41 credit units and are conducted over 1 year (2 semesters and during the long semester break). MM programs are 50% taught courses and 50% research, while a short project, clinical attachment and taught modules are the mainstay of the Clinical Exercise Science program.

Research mode programs
Registration is also open the whole year through for our research mode programs (MSc and PhD) in various medical, dental and health research areas.

Applications for postgraduate studies are open throughtout the year with no closing dates but there are still cut-off date for coursework (CW) and mixed mode (MM) programmes which are as below:
1st Semester (September Intake only) - 15 July (local candidates) / 15 June (international candidates)
It is important to check the cut-off date for the chosen programme. Applications received before the cut-off date will be processed promptly, whereas applications received after the cut-off date will be processed for the next intake.
For research mode programme, application and registration can be anytime throughtout the year.
Applicants should possess USM admission requirement.
Full-time: Min 2 semesters / Max 6 semesters
Part-time: Min 4 semesters / Max 12 semesters (for Malaysian only)
Full-time: Min 4 semesters / Max 10 semesters
Part-time: Min 6 semesters / Max 15 semesters (for Malaysian only)

Lecturer room, supporting departments and cafe are located at SAINS@BERTAM. An up-to-date academic facilities are available at SAINS@BERTAM i.e teleconferencing system, multimedia labs, multipurpose labs, skills labs anatomy muzium, library, auditorium, lecture hall and tutorial and discussion rooms. In AMDI Library there are 25,000 collections available.

Clinical Trial Complex (CTC)
AMDI offers a comprehensive range of clinical services. Oncology, General Surgery, Paediatrics, Otorhinolaryngology, Opthalmology, Orthodontics and Prosthodontics are among the specialty services that are offered in order to cater to the needs of the community in the Northern Region of Peninsula of Malaysia. The Clinical Trial Complex is well-equipped with state-of-theart facilities and equipments for Advanced Diagnostic Imaging and Laboratory Testing and intervention such as radiation theraphy (EBRT, IMRT & Brachytheraphy) and chemotheraphy.
Animal Research Complex (ARC)
AMDI is equipped with facilities to conduct research in the fields of medicine and dentistry. The core activities of AMDI focuses in on the elements of advanced translational research. In order to achieve this, AMDI has the latest and most advanced research facilities. These top notch facilities include Laboratories, Animal Research Complex and Clinical Research Complex.
