MONDAY, 13 JAN –The former Deputy Director (Research and Networking), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Norehan Mokhtar handed over the duties to the new Deputy Director (Research and Networking), Dr. Hasni Arsad was held at the Seminar Room, Animal Research Complex. 

Research Innovation by Design Seminar was held at the Seminar Room, IPPT Research Complex (ARC), USM on April 18, 2019.

This one-day seminar was attended by lecturers and staff of IPPT was presented by YBhg. Prof. Dr. Hanafi Ismail, Director of USM's Innovation and Commercialization Office

The workshop aims to provide general disclosure to IPPT Lecturers on intellectual property, especially patents and patent-specific workshops to potential Lecturers. The workshop was held at the ARC Seminar Room on October 31st & November 1st, 2018

RECEIVES MALAYSIA RESEARCH ASSESSMENT (MyRA). This briefing is aimed at providing a deeper understanding of all KPIs, Researchers and KPI Resources. Additionally, creating a two-way communication space between Lecturer, Researcher and KPI Resources KPI with the Institutional Development Division (BPI). The briefing was presented by Y. Brs. Professor Dr. Phua Kia Kien, Director, Institutional Development Division and Mrs. Norlela Hashim, Statistically, Institutional Development Division on October 9, 2018 at the A Lecture Hall, Science @ Bertam, IPPT.

The Scientific Writing and Publishing Workshop organized by the Division of Research and Networking was held at EDC Hotel & Resorts, UUM Sintok, Kedah from 12 - 14 July 2018 attended by IPPT lecturers.

IPPT has successfully won the silver medal at the 29th International Design, Innovation and Technology Exhibition (ITEX 2018) which took place at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (KLCC) yesterday. Associate Professor Ahmad Munir Che Muhamed, who is also the Deputy Director of Research & Network of IPPT, has earned a silver medal through a research project titled cE-Gel: Coconut Water-Based Energy Gel. He was one of eight lecturers who donated silver medals to USM and followed by 11 gold and 1 bronze. The majority of the winners were young researchers. In total, USM gained 100% victory as all 20 research products competed have earned medals.
