i) Celebration of International Nurses Day on May 12 annually

ii) KIK

The nursing staff successfully produced two groups of KIK who represented AMDI to the Quality Convensyen.

1. Group i-10 -  This first group is made up of 10 nurses who won a gold (3 stars) and was top 10 at the Konvensyen Team Excellence Kebangsaan 2014 at  Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). This group designed a Emergency Matress Sheath to make it easier for critical patients to be moved at times of emergency. This group also did AMDI proud by representing Malaysia to the International Convention on QC Circles- ICQCC 2015 on 5-8 October 2015 in Gyeognam, Korea.

2. Group FAST – The second nursing group to attend the KIK Convention in Kampus Induk USM on 28 July 2015, was also chosen to represent USM to Konvensyen KIK Wilayah Utara and Konvensyen Team Excellence Kebangsaan with their project, Transfer and Go. Transfer and Go was a creative design which solved the problem of dealing with big and heavy stretchers during outdoor activities. This group was awarded gold (3 stars) at both conventions.
