AMDI offers one-year mixed mode/corse work programmes (2+1 semesters) which include the Master of Science (Health Toxicology), Master of Science (Medical Research), Master of Science (Transfusion Science) and Master of Science (Clinical Exercise Science).

The Master of Science (Clinical Exercise Science) prepares you for a wide range of clinical (patient-focused) and non-clinical health career opportunities.  The objective of this Masters program is in line with the vision of The Ministry of Health Malaysia to reduce the rate of  non communicable health issues via a more innovative and effective approaches. 

As a graduate of this versatile postgraduate program, you will be prepared to work along side with other health practitioners in the prevention and management of chronic disease and conditions.  In addition, you will also be prepared to work with the sporting community such as fitness and sports rehabilitation.

The curriculum for the Master of Science (Clinical Exercise Science) program is mainly designed based on criteria set out by International accreditation bodies such as Exercise Sport Science Australia (ESSA) and American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). It is further complemented by emphasizing the theory to practice approach in all of the courses within this program. This is to ensure the graduates be able to perform their duties more effectively.

A B.Sc (Hon.) in areas related to Health Sciences, Physiotherapy, Nutrition and Dietetics, Biomedical Science and Exercise and Sport Science.

DrHaz TMRMarketingInfo
This course is designed to provide a ‘cross fertilisation’ perspectives in medical research with emphasis on dynamism and an integrative approach. The students will graduate with Master of Science (Medical Research). The course consists of two semesters teaching comprising of lectures, seminars, and laboratory-based research project. Each student will undertake a research project in the chosen field of interest and culminate a research dissertation.

This course is designed to produce Scientists in Transfusion Science. The students will graduate with Master of Science (Transfusion Science). Graduates from this programme will be able to work more effectively in the Transfusion Science Department. They will be able to perform tasks in the field of transfusion science, stem cell transplant and cord blood storage. The course consists of lectures, seminars, and practical. Each student will undertake a research project related to the chosen field of interest and culminate a research dissertation.
