Introduction CRL

Makmal Penyelidikan Berpusat (MPB) or better known as Central Research Laboratory (CRL) was established in April 2014. The establishment of CRL is in line with the ambition of AMDI Management towards better research facility management to enhance research activity.

CRL headed by the Deputy Director of Research, Publication and Innovation supported by head of section. The laboratories in CRL managed by Science Officer which acts as a laboratory manager and are also assisted by support staff. 

CRL consists of six laboratories which are Oncology Laboratory, Infectomic Laboratory, Regenerative Laboratory, Integrative Laboratory, Lifestyle Laboratory, Craniofacial and Biomaterials Laboratory. CRL serves to provide facilities, equipment and supervision to all researchers including postgraduate students and industrial training students from higher learning instituition. CRL providing competence staff to handle the equipment and the facilities in the area of Proteomics, Genomics, Cellomic, Analytical Chemistry, Biomaterials, Microbiology, Healthy Lifestyle, Nutrition, Toxicology and others.

The objectives of the Central Research Laboratories:

1. To provide laboratory facilities and equipments to do research in AMDI.

2. To provide training, advice and instructions to students and researchers by using low and high-end equipment and competent and committed staff.

3. To provide service of sample analysis obtain ISO 17025 certification for certain laboratories.
