The Nursing Quality Unit

SCOPE OF SERVICE:

The Nursing Quality Unit was built three years ago to manage all activities related to improving quality and also to obtain MS ISO 9001 : 2008.

Function

1.  To manage documents related to nursing services.

2.  To manage activities related to quality at unit level

3. To prepare documentation related to MS ISO 9001 : 2008.

4. To retain and to prepare books and documentation for revision purposes for the nursing staff.

5. To obtain patients’ statistics monthly prior to it being send to the Medical Records Unit and Nursing Services Unit.

Unit latihan Kejururawatan

In Service Training of Nursing started on 6 Januari 2009. This unit is supervised by Nursing Officer  and one Nursing Manager.. This unit functions to manage all the training for the staff nurse. They also plan training to improve knowledge, skills and soft skills to produce all-rounded staff.

FUNCTION
1.  To manage and to help carry out training for nurses.

2.  To update the CPD points of the nursing staff.

3.  To help with the management of the training of nurses and all AMDI staff.

4.  To help nurses attend courses in and outside of USM.

5.  To coordinate activities in service training program including yearly nurses day program.

6. To coordinate application CPD points  IPPT  and KKM for nurses Statutory Annual Practice certificate
